Before choosing a model, you should first consider which standard you need for your purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, think about the range. In most cases, the range of the 5 GHz Wi-Fi is less than that of the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If necessary, however, you can also help with a repeater.<\/li><li>To receive 5 GHz, your devices must also support the appropriate standards. This includes 802.11n or even 802.11ac.<\/li><li>Since the 5 GHz frequency is used less, you can expect less interference when using it than is the case with 2.4 GHz.
